My name is Dancey, it isnt my real name because that is much longer containing a total of 21 letters. Here are three of them -N.S.C. But you can call me Dancey.
I started this blog for a few reasons. I want to connect with other writers and being online helps me do this. Participating in writer-ly things will help inspire me. There is nothing worse than feeling all alone when there are communities out there who do the same thing you want to do! This blog is also a handy place to put things I learn about writing and the industry in Australia, which might help someone out there, and it helps me just in case I forget things! I also want to put up bits and pieces of my writing.
I must confess I havn't written much. A couple of short stories, some poems and a few novel ideas are under my belt. Next year is a gap year from university and I intend to get serious about writing. Creating this blog is the first step.
I hope you will continue reading and get something out of this blog, whether it's informative, entertaining etc. Or you might decide to never read this blog again, depriving yourself of an interesting story! Suit yourself. In the meantime for people who are thinking of returning, here is a picture of me. I will reveal the who, what, when, where of the pic next time!
